I am a Producer at AJ+, where I create videos about international stories.

Previously, I was a feature writer for publications such as VICE, Elle Magazine, Teen Vogue, POLITICO, and Scalawag Magazine.

Throughout that period, I completed three fellowships: two with The International Women's in Media Foundation and one with The GroundTruth Project. As part of one of these fellowships, I wrote for VICE News on the Kenyan government's suppression of domestic violence reporting. I reported in Tennessee, where I tracked the unconventional storage of court fees and fines, sometimes even in shoeboxes, and how that impacted the voting rights of formerly incarcerated individuals.

My article for Elle Magazine, which highlighted a woman's Facebook group dedicated to exposing cheating men and its role as a catalyst for the Sudan revolution, was the number one story on Apple News for three consecutive weeks.

Outside of producing, I am a professional harpist who enjoys experimenting with pedal effects and synthesizer-infused music projects. I also like books and being outdoors.
